Chris Arnold

Chris Arnold is a General Assignments Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist and News Photographer for KTBS 3. He joined the station in November of 2007, after serving as a Sports Anchor at NewsWatch, his college's student-run newscast that generates sports and news for Ole Miss, Oxford and Lafayette County in Mississippi. Chris is a proud graduate of The University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Chris is passionate about news coverage, and you can find him covering news stories around town during the weekends, and weekday evenings. He also sometimes works as a Video Asset Manager, proving how well-rounded he is within the newsroom. When Chris is not hard at work, you can find him working out at the gym, spending time with his friends, listening to his favorite R&B music and rooting intensely for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Portland Trailblazers and Ole Miss Rebels.     Murders in Shreveport rose slightly last year. Police says 28 people were killed in 2013, compared to around 20 in both 2011 and 2012.So far this year, 17 people have been killed by the hands of others.
