Four Arrested In Drug Bust In Bossier

Four people have been arrested and drugs, cash and vehicles have been seized in a drug bust in Bossier City. The investigation targeted illicit sales of cocaine and marijuana in the Barksdale Annex neighborhood, police said. The arrests were made Thursday morning by narcotics agents and the Police Department's SWAT team, who raided houses on Gibson Drive and Gibson Circle. Police said they seized two pounds of cocaine, a pound of marijuana, approximately $24,000 in cash, four guns and two vehicles. Arrested were James "Pete" Holloway, 50; Cartresha Washington, 31; Kaliesha Smith, 17; and Gregory Kimble, 22. Police said State Police and the FBI were also involved in the eight-month investigation. Holloway was booked on charges of distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs and possession of drugs in the presence of a minor. Holloway was on probation from a conviction on federal drug charges, police said. Washington was booked for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs and possession of drugs in the presence of a minor. Smith was booked on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kimble was booked for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
