Wednesday Weather Closings

A handful of schools in the ArkLaTex are still affected by this past weekend's winter weather. Two school systems in south Arkansas will be closed on Wednesday while several others in East Texas will open late. Schools will be closed in the Blevins, Ark., school district and the Dierks, Ark., school districtThe following schools in East Texas will begin classes at 10 a.m. Wednesday: Atlanta ISD, DeKalb ISD, Hooks ISD, Hubbard ISD, Leary ISD, Malta ISD, Maud ISD, McLeod ISD, New Boston ISD, Queen City ISD, Red Lick ISD, Red Water ISD and Simms ISDHughes Springs ISD and Hughes Springs Head Start will begin at 9 a.m.
