Natchitoches Woman Jailed After Teen's Murder

A 29-year-old woman is behind bars in Natchitoches following the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy. Natchitoches Police report Tanesha Hardy was arrested yesterday.Police were called to the Riverview Inn Apartments just before midnight Saturday night. Officers found the body of the victim with several gunshot wounds.Investigators arrested Hardy a few hours after the shooting was reported. Hardy is booked on one count of murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. She's in the Avoyelles Parish Detention Center awaiting bond.Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the shooting.

    Earlier this year Caddo Parish was awarded an AAA credit rating on general bonds from Standards and Poor's---that's above the federal government and the first for a government body in Louisiana. Officials decided to refinance a bond dept work nearly $7,000,000. It benefits the taxpayers.
