Cox found guilty in SAU horse theft case

KTBS 3 News has confirmed that Wendi Cox has been found guilty on all counts for her role in the Southern Arkansas University Horse theft case.

Cox is on trial in connection with the November 2011 theft of five horses and other equipment from the SAU Rodeo Team in Magnolia.

She is charged with six counts of theft after prosecutors say she convinced her boyfriend, Billy Hamilton, and her daughter, SAU student Jaci Rae Jackson, to steal the horses for re-sale.

Hamilton and Jackson both face charges in Columbia County relating to the horse theft.
