City Council Hears From Public Concerning Clyde Fant Development Traffic

Tuesday's city council meeting featured public comments about the development off of Clyde Fant Parkway where the school, the business complex and the apartment community are being built. Businesses, drivers and people who live in the area voiced their concerns. And there was a lot of public concern on the situation but everyone involved said that they are not against the school but they are concerned about how traffic in the area will be affected. City officials have decided to postpone any action concerning the clyde fant development until after Coleman's suit has been decided in court. So Tuesday's meeting focused on getting the publics thoughts on what they want to be done in the area. Shreveport city council member, Oliver Jenkins said, "So that's really a legal issue that's going to be decided in Judge Emanuel's court. Our piece would be to follow thru with legislation depending on how he rules in court." Again. No decision was made on the developments off of clyde fant parkway and the traffic concerns there.
