SPD: Juvenile stabbed over video game

SHREVEPORT, La. -

A 13 year-old is rushed to the hospital after a stabbing in Shreveport. 

It happened just before 1p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Greenbriar.

According to Shreveport Police Department, a juvenile got into an altercation over a video game with another teen.

The incident escalated and resulted in one of the two being stabbed in the abdomen.

Authorities say the teen's injuries could potentially be life threatening.

The 16 year-old who is accused of the stabbing is in police custody and is being charged with attempted second degree murder.
