Ricin investigation continues

FBI agents are back in East Texas searching a home believed to be connected to the mailing of ricin-tainted letters that were sent to President Obama, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and the mayor's gun control group in Washington D.C. The home belongs to Nathan and Shannon Richardson.

Dozens of FBI officials and hazmat teams returned to the Richardson home on Wednesday. They've been searching the house all day but still haven't said what, if anything, they've found. It's becoming a familiar scene for neighbors on Maple Street in New Boston. Large tents, FBI agents and equipment trailers are back in the Twin Oaks subdivision. Sources say that the FBI initiated the search last week after being contacted by Nathan Richardson's wife, Shannon. She reportedly told authorities that she found a suspicious material in the fridge. Several residents in the small town say they're surprised to see the FBI agents back at the Richardson house.

"It's kind of strange, it looks like they could have wrapped it up. If the people are innocent, I hate that they have to go through this. If they're guilty they need to wrap that up too" says one neighbor.

Federal Investigators first searched the Richardson home on Thursday, May 30. Even though the couple was seen leaving the federal courthouse in Texarkana on Friday, FBI officials are still not commenting. So far, no arrests have been made and lab results about the suspicious substance found at the Richardson home are pending.
