BOSSIER PARISH -

The Bossier Sheriff's Office needs assistance in locating a 16-year-old runaway from the Haughton area.

Kyla Wells left her house around 11 p.m. Wednesday and hasn't been seen since. She was driving her mother's red Toyota RAV4, Louisiana license plate WPW 233. She also left with her dog, a black and white schnauzer.

Wells is 5'6", 118 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators believe she may be with friends in the Shreveport or Bossier area. Wells doesn't have a driver's license, and her family is concerned with her safety.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wells is asked to contact the Bossier Sheriff's Office at 965-2203.
