Wall Street takes a huge hit

Posted: Updated:
New York -

The big sell-off continued Thursday on Wall Street. Investors getting rid of stocks and bonds sent the Dow falling nearly 354 points. That wiped out almost two months of gains. Traders are reacting to word from the Federal Reserve yesterday that it could step back from its aggressive economic stimulus program later this year.
Shreveport certified financial planner Tommy Williams stopped by KTBS 3 this afternoon to give us his thoughts on what happened today on Wall Street.  "I think the investor needs to remember yesterday the market was up 15% as measured by the Dow and today its up 13% percent so we have only given back two percent," Williams said.
Williams says if you are in a 401K, this is a buying opportunity and stocks are on sale by 2%.
