The judge in the manslaughter trial of a former Little Rock police officer has set closing arguments for Saturday morning.
Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen on Friday told jurors that he felt it better to ask them to come back on Saturday in case some had plans to be out of town next week.
Former officer Josh Hastings is accused in the death of 15-year-old Bobby Moore III, who Hastings fatally shot last summer when responding to a report of car burglaries at a west Little Rock apartment complex.
Jury selection began Monday afternoon and testimony began Wednesday.
