The Astros wrangled in LSU sheriff Chris Cotton in this season's 14th round of the MLB draft. And now, the Byrd grad has hung up the purple and gold and is ready for the big league. On Friday, the former Tiger closer tweeted, "Well I officially have a job for the first time in about 5 years, excited for the opportunity @astros." That was followed by a tweet from TigerBait.com senior writer Brian Lazare reporting that Cotton did sign with Houston earlier Friday. Cotton also received exciting news when he was named to Perfect Game's All American third team.
