A 16 year-old Bossier City boy has been arrested in connection with a weekend vandalism spree that resulted in dozens of tires being slashed on multiple vehicles in south Bossier City.

The incidents happened during the overnight hours this past Saturday night and early Sunday morning in residential areas of south Bossier City including the Bellaire, Savannah Place and Golden Meadows subdivisions. In all, 31 vehicles and three trailers were involved with a total of 48 tires slashed. Five of the vehicles also had windows broken out. The total damage amounted to more than $13,000.

Over the course of their two day investigation, detectives received information that enabled them to list the 16 year-old as a suspect.
