Another member of that ever-growing LSU football fraternity made the trip from Baton Rouge to help Mo Claiborne out at his camp, current LSU linebacker Lamin Barrow. There's a lot of unknown regarding this season's purple and gold defense, but Barrow thinks the new set of LSU stars are being underestimated.
The Bayou Bengals will be playing with a chip on their shoulders as they go into uncharted territory with not many returning starters on the roster. But Barrow says the LSU defensive culture is embedded in you when you become a Tiger and they never want to be the group that doesn't live up to that legacy. He adds the young guys are hungry.
We'll get to see if that's true when LSU opens up the season in the Cowboys Classic against TCU on August 31st.
