AOTW - John Sands

SHREVEPORT, La -

We have often heard how age is just a state of mind and we offer another example of that here tonight.  In this week's Rountree Ford Athlete of the Week, Tatum Everett introduces us to John Sands, who has put many frames in to the right frame of mind.

80-year-old Shreveport native Sands was bit by the bowling bug when he was 11 years old.  And this past June, the father of 4, grandfather of 13, and great grand father to 2 with one on the way, was inducted into the Louisiana State USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame.  Sands is one of 5 North Louisianans in the 55 person hall.
