Tampa Bay, Fl. - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced a contract extension for WR Mike Williams through 2018 that will pay the fourth year player out of Syracuse $40.25 million over the life of the deal.

He has proven to be a reliable target, starting 47 games through three seasons in the league.  Over that time period he has averaged 64 receptions, 910 yards, and eight touchdowns per season.

In six games against the Saints, he has hauled in 28 receptions for almost 300 yards but just one touchdown.
