SHREVEPORT, La. -

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for two men accused of committing an armed robbery earlier this month.

Back on July 2, 2013, Shreveport Police responded to the 2500 block of Mabel Street relative to a reported armed robbery. The female victim told authorities that she was accosted by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The victim said she was walking in the 2500 block of Mabel Street and began speaking with one of the suspects when a second suspect approached them. The victim informed police that one of the men punched her in the face knocking her to the ground. The victim, upon being knocked to the ground was reportedly physically assaulted and kicked repeatedly while the other suspect allegedly robbed her of an unknown amount of cash then both men ran off. The victim, while shaken, was not seriously injured.

Shreveport Police Robbery detectives have since been able to gather information linking 18 year old Quincy Randle and 20 year-old Timothy Jackson, both of Shreveport to the crime.

Authorities have secured warrants for the arrest of both men, who are now being sought on armed robbery charges. Bond has been set at $250,000.00 for Randle and $500,000.00 for Jackson.

Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Timothy Jackson or Quincy Randall to contact Caddo Crimestoppers immediately at (318) 673-7373 or on their website at www.lockemup.org. Crimestoppers is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
