One Class at a Time Winner: Marco Reyes

Posted: Updated:

We want to say congratulations to our latest "One Class at a Time"  winner Marco Reyes.

Reyes is a teacher at Bossier High School.

He plans to use the money  to buy touchpad graphing calculators and two infrared thermometers for his advance math class.

Reyes says one of the hardest things he deals with in class is getting  his students to understand or see is trigonometric in nature.

"The goal of this project is have students inquire how our environment relates to trigonometric functions, "said Reyes.

If you are a local teacher and would like to apply for a grant, you can find an application by clicking the "One Class at a Time. "
