Cowboys trying to make a Livings

Posted: Updated:
Oxnard, Ca -

The Dallas Cowboys will play the year's first pre-season game Sunday night but will do so without former LSU offensive lineman Nate Livings.  The veteran guard had surgery on his right knee in February, but has been held out of most of training camp.

Friday morning head coach Jason Garrett revealed Livings had arthroscopic surgery on the knee, his second procedure in six months and will be out 2-4 weeks.  Garrett said the team wanted to get it taken care of in time for Livings to be ready for the season, but it looks like most, if not all of Livings training camp is done and opening day could be in jeopardy.
