For the last five years of his life, Jackson Kennedy, has been fighting a battle against cancer.
The Bossier City boy who loves baseball, had to cheer from the sidelines as his teammates, the Bossier Nationals, competed in the Southwestern Regional Tournament in Waco. Doctors say the tumors in his spine and his brain that appear to growing. It's possible he will need radiation of the brain and spine. His family is asking for prayers that he will make it through these treatment cured and no lasting side effects.
Research done at St Jude is helping to develop protocols that are leading to improvements in how childhood cancer is treated.
