BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU's 2014 football schedule has been released and it includes some breaks from tradition, namely a Thanksgiving Day game at Texas A&M.
That means this season marks the last in a more than two-decade-long string of regular season finales against Arkansas on Thanksgiving weekend.
The 2014 schedule opens with a neutral-site game against Wisconsin in Houston on Aug. 30. LSU's seven home contests include Southeastern Conference match-ups with Mississippi State, Kentucky, Mississippi and Alabama.
In addition to visiting the Aggies, the Tigers will play on the road against Auburn, Florida and Arkansas, with the Razorbacks game now coming on Nov. 15. LSU's non-league home games come against Sam Houston State, Louisiana-Monroe and New Mexico State.
