Ask questions at LSU Health public forum

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La. -

Listen up patients of LSU Health.

Now is the chance to have your voices heard.

On Thursday night, leaders of the Biomedical Research Foundation will answer all your questions about the big change in management.

If you're worried your health care may take a hit, come out to get your questions answered.

This is the first time the BRF has answered questions directly from the community.

Sen. Greg Tarver hopes it will go a long way toward calming fears.

"About 13 to 14 meetings have been held for the employees already. We can't ignore the most valuable asset and that's our patients. The patients should be able to ask the necessary questions they would like to ask for their children and for their family," said Tarver.

If you'd like to come out, the meeting runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night.

It's at Galilee Baptist Church at 1500 Pierre Ave. in Shreveport.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
