Casey at the bat, maybe

Posted: Updated:
Ft. Worth, TX -

TCU had one of the country's top quarterbacks in Casey Pachall two years ago, but a battle with substance abuse derailed his season last year when he was forced to leave the team after the first month.  Pachall went to rehab, then did what the team needed him to do in order to return and has been in a battle through fall camp with Trevone Boykin, who was forced to take over last year.

Head coach Gary Patterson has not yet named a starter for Saturday's game, but KTBS 3 Sports Tatum Everett reports that Patterson has told the team who it will be, but has not yet told his wife, which would explain why he has also not told reporters.
