Fire in East Texas shuts down part of Highway 79

PANOLA COUNTY, Tx. -

The Panola Watchman is reporting that the Panola County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a huge fire has caused a portion U.S. Highway 79 to be closed. County Road 3371 is also closed because of the fire.

Emergency officials from at least eight agencies have responded to the area and are urging folks to use caution when traveling in that direction.
