Not just "no" but...

BATON ROUGE, La -

LSU head coach Les Miles was head coach at Oklahoma State during a period of time now under fire from a five part investigative series by Sports Illustrated.  The first part of the investigation into several serious allegations at Oklahoma State was released on Tuesday quoting eight former players who say they were paid cash by people associated with the program beginning in Miles' time there and named another 29 players who they say received money, some of it in the thousands of dollars.

Miles says he was contacted by Sports Illustrated and told the magazine what he told reporters; that he was not aware of any wrong-doing during his time at Oklahoma State.  Miles says they always did everything the right way and that Oklahoma State is not a place that needs to cheat.  Oklahoma State is a place with unlimited resources, most courtesy of oil baron T. Boone Pickens, who has not been implicated by the Sports Illustrated investigative piece in any way.

Several former players responded strongly saying the allegations were false, including Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who was no choir boy during his time in Stillwater.  Bryant was ruled ineligible by the NCAA after lying about his association with Deion Sanders and wound up leaving school early for the NFL draft.  Bryant on Tuesday tweeted that he wished he had been paid $25,000 when he was at Oklahoma State adding, "If I didn't get paid, I'm damn sure nobody else got paid."

Oklahoma State athletics director Mike Holder says the school is taking the allegations seriously and will cooperate in any investigation from the NCAA.  This story is only just beginning, with more serious allegations to be released as Sports Illustrated's five-part investigative series on Oklahoma State continues.
