LSU hospital jobs now open to the public

Posted: Updated:

The Biomedical Research Foundation Hospital Holding Company (BRFHH) has announced that the remaining jobs at LSU Health Shreveport and EA Conway Monroe hospitals are officially open to the public.

Approximately 85% of those already employed at the hospitals have received offers to remain on staff. Former employees will continue to have priority hiring, according to the holding company.

Officials are still evaluating the number of positions available to the public but the goal is to have both hospitals staffed by October 1 to deliver the same level of services prior to the transition.

Those interested can visit their website and fill out an application.

A public meeting is set for Thursday in Shreveport to discuss the jobs availability and hospital care.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30p.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. The church is located at 1666 Alston Street.
