Hot evening in Bossier City Hot evening in Bossier City

The second to last Thursday of summer turned out very hot with highs near 100 degrees.  Afternoon temperatures were some 5 to 10 degrees above average across the ArkLaTex.

Isolated showers/storms developed ahead of a weak cold front near the I-30 corridor.  Rainfall amounts were light.
