Marshall prepares for border battle

Posted: Updated:

Saturday's match up between Marshall and Parkway is what the 3rd annual Battle on the Border is all about.  Louisiana versus Texas in a battle of schools trying to prove their spot among their respective state's elite teams.  For Marshall, it's a chance to show the state of Texas that they are on their way back to the top, a position that Parkway once found themselves in not long ago.  Maverick head coach Clint Harper says David Feaster's Panthers are a perfect example of what his team is trying to accomplish.  But all of that will be thrown out the window when the two teams meet at Independence Stadium on Saturday.
