Battle tested

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La -

Last weekend Landers Dodge Battle On The Border High School Football Showcase was, by all accounts, a rousing success and it appears to be getting better.  Ten teams from three states played five games over two days at Independence Stadium in Shreveport and next year it will grow to even more.  At least 14 teams will be on hand to play seven games over three days.

In one last look back at a great weekend showcase of outstanding high school football action, which started on Friday night at 6pm and ended late Saturday with a dramatic 27-26 win by Longview, Texas over Olive Branch, Mississippi, KTBS 3 Sports' Alex Anderson put together a video capsule filled with a weekend of memories and moments.
