Motorcycle run nets over $6K for Susan G. Komen Foundation

BOSSIER CITY, La. -

The "Save the Boobies Run" held over the weekend raised thousands of dollars to benefit the Northwest Louisiana chapter of Susan G. Komen.

A check worth $6,616 was presented to the local chapter Friday afternoon at the Harley Davidson Autoplex in Bossier City.

Officials tell KTBS 3 News that the funds will be distributed to local breast health projects in the ten parishes of Northwest Louisiana. The projects include breast cancer screening educational and support projects for women and men of our communities.

The "Save the Boobies Run" was held over the weekend.
