Fair Park perfection

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La -

It's almost unheard of for a high school team to go 1-9 one year, then open 5-0 the next and go from the bottom of the district ranking to the top.  But that's exactly what Fair Park has done.

Indians head coach Mike Greene has turned a program which hasn't had a winning season since 1995 to a team on the verge of making history.  With a win against Benton Friday night, Fair Park is guaranteed to have that winning record.  And they understand there's a type of pressure that comes with being undefeated right now, but they are just concentrated on the Tigers.

Four of the 5 Fair Park wins have been by double digits.  They currently share the district top spot with 4-1 Northwood, who they'll play next week after Benton on Friday.
