He grew up in Shreveport with an early love in television.
His father had a band and a show that aired early Saturday mornings. That's where Tim Brando fell in love with television.
Brando loved sports, especially football. He was approached by someone at ESPN, asking if he would like work the Duke and Virginia game.
From there he would travel all over, broadcasting his voice for all types of sporting events. When he was asked to do a television show for CBS he opted to move back down south.
So every morning for three hours Brando sits and talks sports. The whole show is done through New York by fiber optics.
But to Brando it's not about having his voice heard all over the nation. It's about doing what he loves, while thinking of dad every time.
