Make no mistake: LA Tech can be better

Posted: Updated:
RUSTON, La -

Louisiana Tech is another team shaking its head after a tough weekend.  Three more turnovers lead to one more loss.  North Texas came in to Ruston and ruined homecoming weekend with a 28-13 win that was painful on many fronts for the Bulldogs, who now find themselves 2-5 after letting a 10-0 get away and giving up 28 unanswered points.

"When you look at the game there are a lot of positive you can build on, but the bottom line is trying to find a way to win a football game. We have to work on giving our players an opportunity and hold them to a certain standard in order to win. We have to find a way to win a football game," Tech head coach Skip Holtz said.

Louisiana Tech plays at FIU this week.
