Arklatex Made: Southern Automotive

Posted: Updated:

It's a place that's filled with cars. Some old, some new and some really cool.

Southern Automotive of Shreveport has been fixing cars since 1968. But the real story is about the man behind the Troy Ebarb.

Ebard got his first job at Southern Automotive at the age of 19 learning the business from the ground up..and that meant literally.

Ebard spent his first few years washing bricks outside the store he said so he could keep humble.

It's been 45 years since then but Ebard still remembers his lessons and brings it to his customers.

His main rule is to always tell the truth and never cheat a customer. And that's the Southern Automotive way.
