AMITY, Ark. (AP) -

Authorities in southwestern Arkansas say they have broken up an alleged ATV theft ring.

Police say that five ATV's that were stolen in Howard County, were recovered as well as an assortment of parts, wheels and tires. Apparently, a man saw someone riding his stolen ATV Saturday at the Hillarosa Mud Bog in Hempstead County. Police say the man attempted to take back his ATV but the rider left. Pike County officials say the man gave them enough information to break the case.

The four people arrested are all from Amity in Clark County. All four are being held in the Pike County Jail as they await a court hearing. The names of those arrested have not been released.

Authorities expect more stolen property to be recovered.
