American Red Cross hosts final health fair of 2013

The American Red Cross is hosting its final health fair for 2013.

The event is scheduled to continue until 1p.m. Tuesday at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport.

The health fair is hosted by NSU College of Nursing, Regional Urology, Broadmoor Baptist Church, and American Red Cross Volunteers & Youth.

Offers low cost opportunity for people to keep up with their health. This is a full blood draw, not a finger-prick. Two blood screening options are available.

Both options include a battery of tests, including Cholesterol, thyroid, liver & lipid profiles, glucose levels, CBC counts and more. One option also includes a PSA (prostate cancer screen) for men. Flu shots will also be available on a first come, first served basis.

COST: $40 for the regular blood test or $50 for the test with PSA. Flu shots - $2.
