Our atmosphere warmed a little today as it became saturated. Also, the strong north winds responsible for funneling the arctic air into the region have ceased. So, it looks like our current weather with temperatures above freezing and light to moderate rain falling should last for the remainder of the night.
Slick travel is not expected for us, but may occur north of our area near Little Rock and Memphis.
As the parent storm finally moves through Tuesday, any lingering rain may mix with snow. No accumulations are expected since we will be above freezing.
Clearing and nice weather return tomorrow night through the rest of the holiday week.
