Hall monitored: Liberty-Eylau star future is bright

Posted: Updated:
Texarkana, TX -

Liberty-Eylau's Davion Hall can light players up on a football field. Coach Brian Brown has seen it firsthand. "He's broken two helmets of ours. It's unbelievable. I've never seen that before. He's a hard hitter, strong tackler and just unbelievable force when he hits somebody."

Hall has been a do-it-all type of player for 4 seasons with the leopards and the quiet senior is one of the highest rated recruits in the country.  Brown says, "He can catch the ball, he's a wildcat quarterback. He throws the ball really well.  On defense, we always say if he wasn't playing safety he could play linebacker for us. He's a big kid, 6'3", 195, he returns punts, returns kicks so, just a lot of things he can do."

Hall is a young man of few words. His play does a great deal of talking and he loves to play. "I like getting to the ball and making plays and helping the team win."

And he's about a good of a person and teammate as he is threat on the grid-iron. "Great student, 3.3 GPA. He's a consummate teammate," says coach Brown. "Just a great player to have on your team. All the kids trust him, like him and we feel fortunate to have him."

And even though the curtain fell on his high school career in the opening round of the playoffs... Davion Hall will be a name we hear on Saturdays.
