Parkway on the road again

Posted: Updated:
BOSSIER CITY, La -

The Parkway Panthers have embraced their inner road warriors.  After they played only 9 miles from the stadium to open up the playoffs, they've since made 2 trips to South Louisiana and will be making a third this Friday when they face Covington in the state semifinals.

Although LHSAA sanctions forced the Panthers to be banned from hosting any playoff games, Parkway is thriving on the road limelight.  Right now, they're electric offense is averaging over 47 points per game in the postseason.

Now Parkway plans on taking their road show to 14th ranked Covington and they've embraced the traveling nomad lifestyle.  A win at Covington would mean one final trip down south, but that time it would be to play for the state championship.
