Not so fast; Jones undecided, Cornelius changes again

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La -

The recruiting season is heating up and two area high school stars have changed their minds.  Neville safety Hootie Jones, who had committed to Alabama earlier this month after being recruited heavily by both the Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers, Wednesday decided to decommit from Alabama.  Jones tweeted that he decided to decommit saying he needs more time.

Neville coach Mickey McCarty told KTBS 3 Sports that he had not yet spoken with Jones, but he had heard about the decommitment.  McCarty says he thought Jones' commitment to Alabama was solid at the time, but it is a pressure packed decision and at the mid-term is not all that surprising he may be rethinking things.

Evangel wide receiver Jared Cornelius, who decommitted from Arkansas last week and made a commitment to TCU has changed his mind again.  Cornelius is now back with Arkansas and told KTBS 3 Sports that he signed his financial papers on Wednesday and will indeed play for the Razorbacks.
