Saints-Seahawks Rematch

Posted: Updated:
New Orleans, La. -

The Saints proved all the nay-sayers wrong Saturday when they secured a road victory in sub-freezing temperatures over the Philadelphia Eagles.  And if they want to make it back to the Super Bowl, it only gets harder.  New Orleans is now preparing for a divisional playoff road trip to Seattle.

It's been a month since the Saints were carved up by the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.  In fact, that was the game Seattle clinched their playoff berth in.  They finished the season with the number 1 seed in the NFC and therefore had this weekend off.  Saints quarterback Drew Brees said they got beat pretty soundly last time but their trips to Seattle the past couple of seasons may pay off.

The Saints game will be on Saturday again.  Kickoff against the Seahawks is at 3:30.

About one year ago, KTBS brought you a startling investigation into federal background checks for firearm purchases. Background checks are supposed to weed out felons and mental defectives. But Louisiana had reported zero mental defectives to the FBI's background check system, making us one of the worst states for keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. Because of that, lawmakers passed laws to fix these broken background checks. Until this law went into effect, someone could walk...
