UPDATE: Three Caddo Parish schools cancel classes due to water issues

Posted: Updated:
Caddo Parish -

UPDATE: Three Caddo Parish schools that were closed Wednesday because of water issues, are expected to be back in session on Thursday.

Caddo Parish Schools sent an email to area media Wednesday afternoon stating:

"With the anticipated repairs to the water system to be complete for the Blanchard area, school will resume as normal for Blanchard Elementary, Donnie Bickham Middle, and Northwood High."

Issues with water pressure have caused three schools in Caddo Parish to cancel classes.

Blanchard Elementary, Donnie Bikham, and Northwood High Schools will be closed today.

Officials have confirmed the closures are linked to issues with Blanchard's water system.

All three schools are without water.

We'll keep you up to date with updates as they become available.
