It's been awhile but do you remember the 1991 movie "Fried Green Tomatoes?"

Or what about the 1964 "Jerry Lee Lewis."

Now where's the connection? That's him right there the big guy holding those fried green tomatoes in a jar.

You see, back in 1983, the big guy named Doug started selling coleslaw and pre-packaged salads to, "LSU, Ralph and Kacoos, Mike Andersons, KFC stores."

Business was good but go better when somebody said can you do relish? Doug Moran's wife and daughter got busy and back in the day, they did it all by hand.

"2400 jars a day."

Not anymore, business is really good for KM Goods in Greenwood. That's their products on the shelf at Brookshires. They're also in a couple hundred Walmarts and if you've eaten at a fish restaurant in the ArkLaTex, you've eaten some of this and it's about to get even better.

"This is a product one day that's going to go nationwide with it."

That's because no one else in the world does fried green tomatoes in a jar that you can cook at home so that's the movie connection and this is the Jerry Lee connection.

"This is the barbecue sauce we're going to present to Jerry Lee in Memphis."

Yep, Kim French and a friend came up with an amazing barbecue sauce and Doug Moran is going to convince Jerry Lee to put his name on it.

"I'm going to make it happen."

Doug Moran has been making food happen for 30 years, convincing this guy shouldn't be all that tough.
