Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: 1/28 5:08 a.m.

Red River Parish public schools will be closed Tuesday due to winter weather conditions.

The Sabine Parish School Board has decided to close schools Tuesday, Jan. 28, due to the possibility of inclement weather.

Northwestern State University campuses in Natchitoches, Leesville and Alexandria will be closed Tuesday due to weather conditions. The Alexandria closure covers classes at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish and Rapides Regional Medical Center.

UPDATE:  1/28 1:18am

All Natchitoches parish offices will delay opening this morning - they'll open at 10am.

Please note that the morning shift (6:00 a.m. - -10:00 a.m.) of Parish solid waste bin sites has been canceled.  Due to the delayed start of work tomorrow, the Parish landfill opening will be delayed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
