False fire alarm at Grambling State University

It was a snowball fight that turned ugly. A group of students at Grambling State University say they allegedly were sprayed with a water hose by the Grambling Fire Department Wednesday morning shortly after midnight. Student, Devon Jones was arrested during the incident.

The incident happened at the Frederick Douglass and Phyliss Wheatley dormitories.
The Grambling fire department arrived on the campus after several fire alarms had been pulled.
Chief David Wells declined an on-camera interview with KTBS 3 News until he reviewed surveillance video from campus. However, he did note that it was only after being hit with ice balls and rocks that his men began to use their water hose.

The fire department says two hundred students were involved during the incident. Two Grambling firemen were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
