Parkway bows out of playoffs on positive note

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La -

The Parkway girls soccer team won the school's first ever soccer playoff game in class 5A in thrilling fashion.  The 21st ranked Lady Panthers shocked Acadiana in overtime to pull off the big upset and advance to the second round of the postseason.  Tatum Everett filed a full report from Wednesday's playoff match-up against No. 5 Dominican.

After multiple game time and venue changes, a slow start cost the Lady Panthers the victory. Dominican jumped out to a 3-0 lead by halftime and that would be the final score as Parkway shut out the Debs in the second half.  And although the season may not have ended the way they wanted, it has been a positive year for the Panthers.
