Hall does it all

Posted: Updated:

It's been another dominant season for the Bossier boy basketball team.  They are one win away from capping off their sixth straight undefeated district run thanks in large part to senior Devonte Hall.  Hall has played a big role in the last 3 and head coach Jeremiah Williams says he is one of the best players in the state.  Hall is the last remaining Bearkat from the 2011 state championship squad and says that leaves the pressure on him to lead his team as they gear up for yet another postseason.

Despite his success on the court, Hall is known for much more at Bossier.  In fact, his teachers voted him Mr. BHS thanks to his personality and work in the classroom.  "I don't just work hard on the court, I work hard in school to.  Education is the key to life" says Hall.  Hall has a 3.7 GPA and is hoping to add one more state title to his impressive high school career.

Castor high school is one of a handful of local softball teams still alive in the playoffs. Co-head coaches Bill and Joy-Dee Wallace and their Lady Tigers have engineered a 16 game win streak and they think it's the family atmosphere of the small school squad.
