For the third time this season, the Louisiana Tech men's basketball team garnered points in the Associated Press Top 25 with the latest poll released Monday. The Bulldogs picked up one point in the week 16 AP poll after having five for week 11 and one for week 13.

For the first time this season they also found themselves receiving points in the USA Today/Coaches Top 25 poll, picking up two points. The AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll is compiled from votes by 65 sportswriters and broadcasters from across the nation. The USA Today Sports Board of Coaches is made up of 31 head coaches at Division I institutions. All are members of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

LA Tech is 21-5 overall and in a three-way tie for first place in Conference USA with a 9-2 league record.  The ‘Dogs are on a four-game winning streak heading into Thursday night's game at East Carolina.  The contest tips off at 6 p.m. CT.
