Lockdown lifted at Homer schools after bomb threat

HOMER, La. (KTBS) -

Homer High School in Claiborne Parish was placed on lockdown Monday morning.

Claiborne Parish Schools Superintendent, Dr. Janice Williams, tells KTBS 3 News that the school was placed under a lockdown after a bomb threat was called in.

After searching all three campuses, the Homer Police Department did not find anything suspicious. The lockdown was lifted around 11:45 a.m.

No word yet on how the school received the threat or who made the threat.
