First Times a Charm

BOSSIER CITY, La -

If the future of the Bossier Parish Community College girls basketball program is anything like their inaugural season, we could see another successful team added to the Ark-La-Tex. In only their first year, the Lady Cavs hosted their first postseason contest Monday against Coastal Bend.

BPCC was playing for a berth into their conference tournament and the Lady Cavs broke the century mark with a 106-71 victory and the program's first playoff win. Now, the Lady Cavs head to the Region 14 tournament to take on the number 1 team in the country Trinity Valley in the opening round at Tyler Junior College on Wednesday.
